International Translation Day

International Translation Day (ITD) is celebrated on September 30, the feast day of St. Jerome, patron saint of translators. Every year, the theme for the day is selected by the International Federation of Translators. All three OTTIAQ regions (Montreal, Outaouais and the Capitale-Nationale) organize activities to mark this special day.

The theme of ITD 2006 is Many Languages - One Profession. Information about the event will be made available online sometime during the summer.

Every year, OTTIAQ’s terminologists invite all language professionals to their Grand rendez-vous. The event features lectures by authors, terminology specialists and people passionate about language. Don’t miss the next get-together!
